MTH Opens New Plant in Sant’Antonino di Susa for Algor Cold Room Production

New facility enhances production of the Algor mini-cold room range with a focus on sustainability and Italian quality.

MTH has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Sant’Antonino di Susa, Italy, dedicated to producing its updated Algor line of mini-cold rooms. The site marks a strategic investment aimed at reinforcing the company's commitment to 100% Italian manufacturing, from design to final assembly.

Designed for high efficiency and operational flexibility, the new plant features advanced technologies to support scalable production. It is fully equipped with a photovoltaic system, enabling energy self-sufficiency and minimizing environmental impact. This aligns with MTH’s broader goals for sustainable development and industrial decarbonization.

The facility will serve as the manufacturing base for the new Algor range, which integrates Italian design principles with performance-focused engineering. According to MTH, the site was developed to maintain high quality standards and ensure direct oversight of all production stages.

"The new plant represents our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and Italian manufacturing excellence," said an MTH spokesperson. "We are proud to create products that reflect our values and contribute to responsible industrial growth."

The launch of the Algor range at this facility strengthens MTH’s market position while anchoring its production firmly in the Piedmont region, reinforcing its identity as a Made in Italy manufacturer.
