Munters has secured an order worth 82 million USD (approximately 775 million SEK) for its Geoclima Circlemiser chillers, including service and commissioning. The order comes from a US-based data center colocation provider focused on high-performance computing for artificial intelligence.
The chillers will be deployed at a large AI facility serving a hyperscale tenant, with deliveries scheduled throughout 2026. The order will be recorded in Munters' fourth-quarter intake and reflects growing demand in the US for high-efficiency cooling technologies, following Munters' acquisition of Geoclima in 2024.
According to the company, the Circlemiser chillers offer high energy efficiency and compact design, supporting data center operators in managing operational costs and space constraints.
“Just over a year after acquiring Geoclima, we’re proud to win this order from a new customer for a demanding application. It demonstrates that our leading technology is well aligned with the rapidly evolving needs of the industry," said Stefan Aspman, President DCT and Group Vice President of Munters.
Aspman added that chillers are currently sourced from Europe, leading to temporary tariff impacts, but production in the US is expected to be operational by the end of Q1 2026 at Munters’ new factory in Virginia.
