Munters Secures Major Order for Cooling Distribution Units in US Data Centers

Munters has secured a substantial order valued at MSEK 375 (approximately MUSD 35) from a leading data center colocation provider in the United States. The order pertains to the Munters LCX system, a water-to-water cooling distribution unit (CDU) specifically designed for liquid-cooled servers.

The data center sector is a key growth area for Munters, with its advanced technology meeting the industry's rapidly changing demands. With the increasing power of processing units handling complex workloads, servers generate more heat. Liquid cooling offers a more effective solution for managing these temperatures compared to traditional air cooling methods. CDUs play a crucial role in this process by regulating the flow and temperature of cooling liquids, ensuring efficient heat transfer away from critical equipment.

This order underscores Munters’ position at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative cooling solutions for the data center industry. The LCX system provides scalable and efficient solutions that enable customers to confidently meet the evolving demands of the digital landscape.
