Munters wins large Data Center order for SyCool Split

Munters Group (MTRS), a global leader in energy efficient air treatment and climate control solutions, has received an order, with a value of MUSD 137 (appr. BSEK 1.5), from a leading data center colocation operator in the US. Deliveries are expected to take place throughout 2025.

“In this rapidly changing market this order reaffirms our esteemed market position and showcases our expertise in cultivating lasting customer partnerships”,says Klas Forsström, President and CEO of Munters.

“SyCool´s infrastructure provides strategic flexibility for our customers, bridging requirements of today with visions of tomorrow. It is compatible with both air-cooled and liquid-cooled designs, which is a critical feature considering the rapid evolution of technology, options, and requirements in the data center industry”, says Stefan Aspman, President Data Center Technologies and Group Vice President of Munters.

Munters SyCool Split is an energy efficient, thermosiphon-based dry cooling solution for data centers. It has been developed to minimize the environmental impact of data centers by providing free cooling without the use of water. It was selected by the customer after an assessment of the various forms of cooling solutions currently available on the market, considering many attributes, including product quality, energy efficiency, water consumption, reliability, scalability, ease of maintenance and service support.
