Arras Froid Services, a Carrier Transicold service provider, has moved to a new, 1,300 square-meter facility offering more space to better support customers, improvements to safety and comfort for employees, and reductions in environmental impact.
Present in Arras since the 1970s, the service center has been called Arras Froid Services since 2010. The Arras Froid service center allows Carrier Transicold France to have a regional presence and be closer to its customers.
Jean Francois Rebillon, Director of JFR Investissements, which owns Arras Froid Services, in consultation with Carrier, made the decision to move the center to the new location. JFR Investissements also owns Carrier service providers in Boulogne, Lille, Caen and Sain-Lô.
“The location in the Artoipole zone was determined in particular for its easier access by the direct exit from the A1 motorway and by the presence of numerous logistics transport companies and agri-food industries,” said Rebillon. “Thanks to a team of technicians trained in the latest technologies, Arras Froid Services offers assembly, repair and maintenance services for refrigeration units and is an ATP (Technical compliance certificate) test center authorized for the control of transport vehicles under ATP controlled temperature.”
The new facility was designed with sustainability in mind. It is powered by 1,000 square-meters of solar panels installed on the building, has a rainwater collection area and will soon have charging stations for electric vehicles.
“Many of our customers are recognized carriers who have strong roots in their territory,” said Sébastien Pholoppe, Network Director, Carrier Transicold France. “By strengthening our regional presence, they can rely on the expertise of a local provider with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Carrier Transicold refrigeration units and its all-electric ranges.”
