
Tim Ludwig, President of Bradner Cold Storage (Canada), assumes the role of Chair for the GCCA Warehouse Board. Ludwig emphasized the importance of strategic renewal and member engagement, stating:
“It is an honor to take on this role... I will be focused on three priorities: driving greater engagement, ensuring relevance to industry leaders, and strengthening the value proposition for our warehouse membership.”
Supporting Ludwig as Vice Chair is Francisco Moura, CEO of IceStar (Chile), while Larry Alderfer of United States Cold Storage (USA) and Jason Dreisbach of Dreisbach Enterprises (USA) will serve as Immediate Past Chair.
Richard Patenaude, President of Congebec Transport (Canada), takes on the role of Chair for the GCCA Transportation Board. Highlighting the challenges of global trade and decarbonization, he stated:
“A strong voice for cold chain truckers, rail, and air cargo has never been more critical.”
Robert Fay of Florida Freezer (USA) and Don Durm of PLM Fleet (USA) will support Patenaude as Vice Chair and Immediate Past Chair, respectively.
Ken Whah, President of Core X Partners (USA), has been named Chair of the GCCF Board. Whah expressed enthusiasm for expanding the Cold Chain Institute and addressing food waste reduction, noting:
“Reducing food waste and strengthening food security requires the hands-on engagement of cold chain experts.”
Supporting Whah are Adam Forste (Vice Chair), Graham Harvey (Treasurer), and Mickey Hoffmann (Immediate Past Chair).
Sam Tippmann, President of TI Cold (USA), will continue as Chair of the CEBA Board for the second year of his term. Tippmann highlighted the association's strong growth:
“With record membership, conference attendance, and engaged committees, our Association enters 2024 stronger than ever.”
