We are delighted to be launching our brand-new solution for a refrigerated box body at this year’s CV Show.
The insulated box body fitted onto a Mercedes Sprinter MWB chassis features a lot of firsts – including new ‘fit and forget’ LED cluster lights, resulting in less maintenance on the vehicles. When designing this new product, we always worked towards a result which would have offered durability, quality, strength, flexibility and capabilities way above current industry standards.
The result is a trailblazing refrigerated box body solution which offers an enviable payload capability compared to our closest competitors – 1191kg (90% fuel and 75Kg driver).
This innovative design will come with a range of features as standard, including gloss interior, aluminium sections, stainless steel rear frames and door furniture, together with a high impact GRP interior surface which is lighter and stronger than current industry solutions.
The vehicle on display at The CV Show also features rear door central locking – another first for UK box body vehicles. The mechanism is a two-stage lock for safety with no visible exterior fixings. With no fixings visible on the roof or base of the box body, the design has a sleeker look and feel, mirroring the high level of quality standards we operates at.
With anti-slip GRP flooring, door aperture to allow a fully loaded pallet at 1340mm width, 360-degree camera system, under chassis refrigeration unit and light-weight rear step fitted to the full width of the door opening, this first box body solution has pushed boundaries of design, innovation, materials and technologies, creating a refrigerated vehicle never seen before in the UK market.
