New robot Cemafroid for the doors of refrigerated display cabinets

Cemafroid is one of the only independent laboratories in the world able to offer users and manufacturers of refrigerated display cabinets a complete range of tests to know precisely and compare the refrigerating and energy performance of these equipment.

The standard NF EN ISO 23953 which is most often used for these tests requires strict sequences of door openings.

The "Shiva" robot has been developed, designed and built by Cemafroid teams in response to a need expressed by the laboratory's customers to improve the reproducibility of long-term tests that require these repetitive door openings.

The developed automat allows to manage simultaneously 4 cylinders. Door opening sequences have been predefined in order to meet the needs for testing refrigerating cabinets for all types of 1 to 4 vertical or horizontal sliding or swinging doors, opening in the opposite direction or in the same direction ...

An independent accredited Cofrac laboratory for testing all equipment ranges

These tests are carried out under the Cofrac ISO 17 025 accreditation of Cemafroid (Accreditation n ° 1-0699, 1-1695 scope available on www.cofrac.fr) which proves the quality of Cemafroid's services and leads to a greater international recognition of test reports.

In addition to the tests of refrigerated cabinets according to the NF EN ISO 2395 standard, the Cemafroid installations make it possible to carry out tests for all types of equipment and according to numerous standards and protocols, and in particular:

cabinets and refrigerated counters for professional use (standard NF EN 16825);
household refrigerators and freezers (standard NF EN 62552);
the Certicold HACCP label, a European quality label that guarantees the performance and efficiency of refrigerated display cabinets;
WHO PQS protocols for the cold chain of health products and vaccines;
but also according to protocols and private specifications elaborated with the manufacturers and users of this equipment.
