Nordic Climate Group has expanded its operations in the Netherlands by acquiring IJskoud B.V., a well-established cooling and energy solutions company in Amsterdam. This acquisition bolsters the group's position as a leading player in Northern Europe for cooling, heating, and energy installations.

Founded in 1935, IJskoud specializes in cooling and climate technology for sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, and public buildings. The company has strong customer relationships and a focus on service and maintenance. Managed by José and Henk Komin since 2003, IJskoud adds 24 employees and a revenue of EUR 4.6 million to Nordic Climate Group.

Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V. now consists of 9 companies with 190 employees and a revenue of approximately EUR 50 million. The group aims to grow further through additional acquisitions in the Dutch market.

Joseph Kuling, Chairman of Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V., expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, highlighting IJskoud’s commitment to service and employee development as a valuable addition to their operations.

Commenting on the acquisition, José and Henk Komin noted the alignment of values with Nordic Climate Group and the benefits of joining a larger entity while maintaining their entrepreneurial ethos.
