Panasonic Aquarea J Series heat pumps approved for Connect & Notify

Panasonic, a global leader in innovative heating and cooling solutions, is delighted to announce that its Aquarea J Series heat pumps (5, 7 and 9kW units) have received approval for a faster and more straightforward installation process through the Energy Network Association (ENA) to connect then notify the District Network Operators (DNO). Traditionally, the installation of heat pump systems requires homeowners and installers to seek prior approval from their respective DNOs, a time-consuming and sometimes uncertain process. Having connect and notify approval removes the need for a lengthy application process, speeding up the installation of heat pump systems in the UK.

Now, homeowners and installers can proceed with the installation of Panasonic Aquarea J Series (models WH-MDC05J3E5, WH-MDC07J3E5 & WH-MDC09J3E5) heat pumps without waiting for approval, as these are listed on the Energy Network Association database. The new process allows for installation first, with the requirement to notify the DNO within 28 days after installation is complete. Choosing Panasonic connect and notify heat pump range makes the transition to sustainable energy simpler.

"At Panasonic, we are committed to providing cutting-edge solutions that enhance the lives of our customers while being mindful of the environment. The pre-approval of our Aquarea J Series heat pumps for a quicker and simpler installation process through DNO Connect & Notify is a significant step forward in achieving this goal," said Jose Alves, Regional Director for UK, Ireland and Netherlands for Panasonic.

Panasonic encourages homeowners, installers, and businesses looking to switch to energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions to explore the benefits of its Aquarea J Series heat pumps which is Connect & Notify approved.
