Pia Brantgärde Linder New President Business Area FoodTech

Pia Brantgärde Linder, currently Business Unit Manager of High Voltage Products in Northern Europe at ABB, has been appointed President of Business Area FoodTech as of August 16, 2020.

Pia has had a long career at ABB. She is currently Senior Vice President and the Business Unit Manager for High Voltage Products in Northern Europe. The business unit has a total workforce of 1,500 employees. Pia has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from Stockholm School of Economics.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Johan Ekeström for his very strong contribution as interim President of Business Area FoodTech. Johan will continue in his dual roles as interim President of FoodTech and Vice President Finance at FoodTech until Pia takes on her new position,” says Klas Forsström, President and CEO at Munters Group.

Munters Business Area FoodTech is one of the world’s leading suppliers of innovative, energy-efficient climate control solutions for livestock farming and greenhouses, as well as software for controlling and optimizing the entire food production value chain. It has about 830 employees and a turnover of about SEK 2,000 million in 2019.
