Putting into Use Replacement Refrigerants report – Second Edition January 2018

The first edition of this report was produced by members of the British Refrigeration Association (BRA). The purpose of the report was to help people address the implications and requirements of the EU F-Gas regulation which came into force on 1st January 2015, with specific reference to the replacement of R404A. The second edition has been updated to reflect market developments over the last two years. Data has been added on the A2L (low flammability) alternatives for R404A.  New sections address the challenges facing the air conditioning industry as it looks to replace R410A in the future.  Data on R410A alternatives is included, together with a summary section covering more general aspects of A2L refrigerants.
