Qvantum appoints Sandra Trittin to board of directors

Swedish heat pump manufacturer Qvantum has appointed Sandra Trittin to its board of directors as the company continues its international expansion. Earlier this year, Qvantum secured €108 million in Series C financing to scale production and support growth in Europe.

Trittin is co-founder of tiko Energy Solutions, a provider of smart grid and energy management systems. She is also a driving force behind Beebop.ai, which applies artificial intelligence to energy technology, and founder of Futurize.Energy, a consulting platform for the energy sector. With broad experience in clean-tech and energy transition, she is expected to contribute to Qvantum’s strategic development.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome Sandra to Qvantum’s board. She brings a unique combination of strategic sharpness and innovative power in clean-tech that further broadens the expertise of the board,” said Mats Leifland, Chairman of the Board of Qvantum.

Trittin commented: “I am impressed by Qvantum’s development and look forward to contributing with my experience from previous clean-tech start-ups. It was above all Qvantum’s strong vision for the energy solutions of the future that caught my interest, and I am really looking forward to being part of the next step in the growth journey.”

Qvantum’s board also includes Karin Jarl Månsson, former CEO of Sydvatten and senior executive at E.ON; Mats Rahmström, former CEO of Atlas Copco; and Per Colleen of TomEnterprise. Chairman Mats Leifland has long experience in the energy sector. Co-opted members include investors Thomas von Koch (TomEnterprise) and Willem Huiderkoper (IMAS Foundation).

“Sandra strengthens Qvantum’s Board of Directors with invaluable experience from international growth companies. Together with the Board of Directors, we are now even better equipped to accelerate our expansion and establish Qvantum as a leading player in the European energy market,” added Fredrik Rosenqvist, CEO of Qvantum.
