SANHA presented piping systems for heating, gas, cooling and industrial applications

With the new press systems "Heavy Steel Press" and "Heavy Steel Press Gas", thick-walled steel pipes can be pressed in a time-saving way instead of being welded. The piping systems are suitable for heating, gas, cooling and industrial applications.

Time savings of up to 60 % and less additional work compared to welding are good arguments for using the new press systems. The press fittings receive additional safety through a special design - the sealing ring has a 200 % larger surface than usual. This means that permanent tightness can be guaranteed without any problems even if there are surface imperfections (within the tolerance range of DIN EN 10217 / DIN EN 10255).

A grip ring and a spacer are located in front of the sealing ring. They protect the sealing ring when the fitting is pushed onto the pipe. During and after pressing, the grip ring provides additional stability. The result: robust, long-lasting installations.

The "Heavy Steel Press" system with black EPDM sealing ring can be used for closed heating and cooling circuits, sprinkler systems and compressed air, among other applications. "Heavy Steel Press Gas" is equipped with a yellow HNBR sealing ring and is used for gases or heating oil, for example. Both are suitable for numerous applications in industry, commerce and residential construction or in power plant and local heating supply.

The catalogue currently includes dimensions from ½ to 2 inches for thick-walled pipes according to EN 10220 or 10255. The operating temperature range extends from -30 to +120 °C or 20 to +80 °C for the gas version.
