Zhejiang Sanhua Intelligent Controls Co., Ltd. and Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on November 3 in Qingdao, China. The agreement aims to deepen collaboration in technological innovation, global supply chain synergy, and emerging market development, supporting a green, intelligent, and low-carbon lifestyle.
The agreement was signed by Wang Dayong, President of Sanhua Intelligent Controls, and Li Yang, Vice President and Global Procurement General Manager of Haier Smart Home. The ceremony was witnessed by Zhang Yabo, Chairman and CEO of Sanhua Intelligent Controls, and Li Huagang, Chairman and President of Haier Smart Home.
Sanhua has provided Haier with energy-saving control components for refrigerators and air conditioners since the 1980s, including solenoid valves, four-way valves, and electronic expansion valves. These components have contributed to several consumer products with improved energy efficiency and performance.
The strategic cooperation will focus on three main areas: collaborative R&D integration to optimize design and technical solutions; establishment of joint laboratories to address efficiency and energy consumption challenges; and exploration of emerging fields such as thermal management for new energy vehicles and industrial automation.
Both companies also plan to strengthen their collaboration in overseas markets.
Chairman Zhang Yabo stated that Sanhua will continue to focus on technological innovation and global collaboration, working with Haier to promote green and intelligent development. Chairman Li Huagang noted that the agreement marks an upgrade in the companies’ long-standing partnership and the beginning of a new phase of strategic cooperation.
