SAP has recognised BITZER for having very successfully implemented IoT

At the SAP Quality Awards last year, BITZER received the bronze medal in the innovation category – thanks to its cross-departmental teamwork. With these awards, SAP honors special achievements in the implementation of its software solutions.

BITZER is positioning itself as a digital pioneer: At the end of last year, the specialist for refrigeration and air conditioning technology was again awarded the SAP Quality Award in bronze in the innovation category in the SAP Arena in Mannheim. This was the second time after 2018 that the company received the coveted medal. With these awards, the global software company SAP has been honoring the most successful implementations of SAP applications in Germany for over ten years. The basis for this success is an outstanding team effort at BITZER, in which many people were involved. Christian Stenzel, Director Organization and IT at BITZER, says: "I am very proud to accept this medal on behalf of all employees who worked on this project. It shows that we are well positioned as a company and thus also able to meet the demands of a digital future".

SAP has recognised BITZER for having very successfully implemented IoT (Internet of Things) solutions in conjunction with other applications. Michael Eichberger, Director Digitalization at BITZER in Sindelfingen, adds: "We also see this award as a confirmation for us to continue following the path we have taken. Thanks are due to all employees who have accepted the agile way of working and who are working tirelessly to continue to position BITZER as a digital pioneer and thus contribute to BITZER's path-breaking role in the company's core business of refrigeration and air conditioning technology".
