The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) has appointed Sara Goodman-Stickler as its new President & CEO. Sara, who will officially start on September 3, 2024, will spearhead the organization’s mission to promote and grow the global cold chain.

“We are extremely pleased to announce Sara as the new President & CEO of GCCA,” said Greg Laurin, Chairman of the Search Committee. “Sara’s strong leadership will help us address the strategic priorities of our global membership and meet the evolving needs of the cold chain industry.”

Sara joins GCCA from WTS International, where she served as President & CEO since 2018. At WTS, she advanced the organization’s strategic priorities and collaborated closely with the Board of Directors to enhance the WTS brand and its programs.

"GCCA is at the forefront of the perishable food supply chain," said Sara. “I am excited to lead such an important organization and work with the Boards, Members, and Staff to ensure the safe and efficient movement of products globally.”

The selection process, managed by Heidrick & Struggles, included a task force of GCCA, GCCF, and CEBA members and input from numerous industry representatives.

Sara Goodman-Stickler's appointment marks a pivotal moment for GCCA as it continues to advance the global cold chain industry.
