Schmitz Cargobull wins the “Best Brand 2019” award

Schmitz Cargobull wins the “Best Brand 2019” award in the Trailer box/refrigerated body category. Europe’s leading trailer manufacturer has won the prestigious Image Award from the ETM Verlag, receiving another branch-specific award within the space of only a few weeks. More than 8,400 readers of the FERNFAHRER, lastauto omnibus and trans aktuell trade publications voted as part of the the renowned Image Award from publisher ETM-Verlag.

“We are proud to have been recognised as the best brand in the Trailer box/refrigerated body category once again. Schmitz Cargobull’s reliability and innovative power prove their value on a daily basis. This award not only confirms our customer-oriented products and services, but also proves the reliability of our employees who always work with innovative ideas to ensure the lowest TCOs (Total Cost of Ownership) and, thus, the profitability of our customers,” said Andreas Schmitz, Chairman of the Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG, at the award ceremony in Stuttgart on 26th of June.

Schmitz Cargobull also took second place with its proprietary cooling unit, repeating the success of the previous year. The new cooling unit generation offers the same high cooling performance and precise temperature management, but reduces fuel consumption by up to 10% while also achieving weight savings of 50 kg. Naturally, it also fulfils the new Stage V emission regulations,” continued Schmitz. "Our high-performance cooling unit combined with the web-based monitoring system and unique proactive service management provides reliable control when transporting temperature-controlled freight.

Readers also voted the transport solution provider from Münster into second place in both the Curtainsider and Tipper categories.

The readers of ETM's trade publications, lastauto omnibus, trans aktuell and FERNFAHRER, voted in the 23rd edition of the awards recognising the best commercial vehicles. The winning brands were determined in 26 different categories in collaboration with DEKRA and under notary supervision. The readers themselves judge the brand image and product quality. These awards represent an important indicator for the industry, given that the results of the survey provide tangible proof of customer opinions and preferences.
