Secop Awarded IATF16949 Certification as an Automotive Class Supplier

Secop is proud to announce that the manufacturing plant located in Tianjin, China has been certified according to the standard IATF 16949:2016 for the design and manufacturing of hermetic compressors for automotive refrigeration.

IATF 16949 is the internationally recognized standard for the automotive industry and provides quality management system requirements for continuous improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. The IATF 16949:2016 certificate as a contractual prerequisite is beneficial for automotive manufacturers in improving processes and product quality control.

IATF16949 certification is part of the strategic plan of Secop Group to become a premium partner for automotive manufacturers worldwide (passenger cars, trucks, eCars, bus, recreation vehicles, etc.) and certify the focus of Secop on premium quality process and products. The automotive application segment is strategic for the Secop Mobile Cooling business unit.

With this important milestone achievement, the Secop Group can offer an improved quality system with enhanced quality management, quality awareness and competencies, premium quality monitoring system, state-of-the-art tools, and enhanced customer service support.
