SWEP and Westermeyer Team Up for Aftermarket

SWEP International AB, and Westermeyer Industries, Inc. have signed a strategic distribution partnership to develop and support aftermarket sales of brazed-plate heat exchangers (BPHE) in the commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning industry.

Both parties are excited about the new strategic collaboration, making Westermeyer Industries a public distributor for SWEP’s BPHE product line in the commercial market.

Brazed-plate heat exchangers are a complementary product to Westermeyer’s existing product offering, allowing them to leverage their commercial refrigeration systems expertise and industry relationships. According to representatives from the companies, the goal of this collaboration will be to develop and market a SWEP BPHE product line that is competitive in the wholesale and aftermarket space, with SWEP supporting this effort through their engineering knowledge, software, technical support, and manufacturing capabilities.

“We’re extremely excited to be teaming up with Westermeyer Industries,” said Bill Faust, SWEP’s Dealer Sales Manager. “Like SWEP, they are an industry leader dedicated to the highest-quality products, amazing technical support, and unparalleled customer service. Westermeyer’s vision fits perfectly with the goals we work towards every day.”

Gary Westermeyer, founder and President of Westermeyer Industries, is pleased about the partnership as well, saying “Westermeyer Industries is excited to broaden our product offering with a well-known name in the heat transfer space. SWEP’s brazed-plate heat exchangers complement our diverse product line and provide our dedicated customers with more heat transfer choices.”
