SWEP receives AHRI 2018-2020 Annual Performance Award

AHRI’s (Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute) Certification programs are well-recognized as a performance verifier for heating, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration equipment. The products undergo testing by independent laboratories under contract to AHRI and are evaluated using the appropriate industry standard to certify that published performance ratings are accurate. This allows buyers to make a fair comparison when selecting products for their HVAC installations. Having the AHRI Certification is a very important condition for businesses with commercial and residential water to water applications, mainly in the USA and Canada.

During 2018-2020, fifteen SWEP units were tested by AHRI, all with 100% success ratio. Currently 46 SWEP brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs) are available as AHRI certified. Successfully passing all tests is the measure of merit in AHRI’s certification programs.  By having these tests done, we also get a valuable assurance that SWEP SSP calculations are in-line with a real test of randomly selected BPHEs. This shows proof of SWEP’s internal process for SSP calibration, and that we measure and calculate in a very accurate way. It also means that our customers can be confident they get the correct product for their application.

"The entire SWEP team put all their efforts into keeping the highest standards when developing and producing BPHE's that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. This award is a gratifying recognition to all the people involved that the persistent work pays off. I am very proud of this achievement," says Ulrika Nordqvist, President SWEP.
