Swisslog Appoints Sven Borghoff as Head of Sales – EMEA Central

Swisslog has named Sven Borghoff as the new Head of Sales for EMEA Central. In this position, he will oversee sales operations in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Borghoff, who brings over 20 years of experience in the intralogistics sector, will play a key role in expanding Swisslog’s presence in the region. He will report directly to Markus Kirchhoff, Senior Vice President Sales & Accounts EMEA.
Borghoff previously worked at Swisslog in a sales capacity and now returns in the company’s 125th anniversary year. "I am proud to rejoin the Swisslog team having worked in the sales team previously – especially in our 125th anniversary year. Together with my teams across EMEA Central, we will execute our strategy with determination and shape the future of sales in our region. Our focus is on supporting customers as well as logistics consultants with the ambition of being a success booster during the concept and sales phases, while further strengthening Swisslog as a reliable long-term partner," he said.
Markus Kirchhoff welcomed the appointment, stating, “I am delighted that Sven is stepping into this role. With his experience and deep market expertise, he will help us achieve our growth objectives.”
Borghoff, originally from Beckum, Germany, has spent over five years working in the United States. He is married, has two children, and is a passionate triathlete.
