SYCLEF, which specializes in commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC), is set to enter the Irish market through a transaction with the Quinn Downes Group. The Irish group specializes in HVAC installations. The deal, announced on March 13, 2026, remains subject to approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland.
Founded in 1999 and based in Dublin, the Quinn Downes Group is one of Ireland’s leading players in the installation of HVAC systems, with recognized expertise in critical infrastructure, particularly data centers. As its business has grown and demand for service and maintenance solutions has increased, the group has organized its operations around two specialized companies: Quinn Downes Installation and Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance.
The Quinn Downes Group currently employs more than 130 people in Ireland. According to SYCLEF, the partnership supports its European growth strategy and will strengthen its presence in Europe while preserving the Irish group’s identity, autonomy and culture.
“The partnership with the Quinn Downes Group marks an important step in SYCLEF’s development and our entry into the Irish market,” said Guillaume Burvingt, International Director – SYCLEF. “Their recognized expertise and strong presence in Ireland further strengthen our international network.”
