Asokdas Damodaran, Managing Director of Systemair India, has been elected President of the Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA) for the 2025–2026 term.
Damodaran aims to reinforce AMCA’s global presence by focusing on regional expertise, shared values, and sustainable growth. His leadership will prioritize aligning the association’s initiatives with industry trends such as sustainability and digital transformation, while also addressing region-specific needs.
Key objectives for his term include enhancing AMCA’s standards and Certified Ratings Program (CRP) beyond compliance requirements, introducing new performance differentiators, and building strategic partnerships to address global industry challenges.
Systemair has a long-standing relationship with AMCA, with its Skinnskatteberg laboratory in Sweden becoming Europe’s first AMCA-accredited facility in 1996. The company has since expanded accredited testing labs to Germany, India, and the United States.
