Systemair names Robert Larsson as new President and CEO

Sweden-based ventilation company Systemair AB has appointed Robert Larsson as its new President and CEO. He will succeed Roland Kasper, who has held the position since 2015. Larsson is expected to assume his new role no later than January 2026.

Robert Larsson joins Systemair from the AFRY Group, where he has worked since 2018 in several roles, most recently as Head of the Infrastructure Division, overseeing approximately SEK 10 billion in revenue and 7,000 employees. Before AFRY, Larsson spent 24 years at ABB in senior management roles across Sweden, China and Switzerland. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Linköpings Institute of Technology.

“The board is very pleased to present Robert Larsson as new President and CEO,” said Gerald Engström, Chairman of the Board. “Robert has broad industrial and international experience and will, together with our organisation, develop Systemair further in our growth journey.”

“It is a great honour to get the opportunity to lead Systemair with its leading position within the ventilation industry,” said Larsson. “Systemair is a well-run group and well positioned to develop further. I am really looking forward to working together with all employees, customers, suppliers and the board.”

Until Larsson takes office, Roland Kasper will continue in his role as President and CEO.
