Maintaining commercial relations in Africa for several years, Tecumseh opens its office in Morocco at Casablanca, to be closer to its distributors and installers.
“Convinced of the strong development potential of the African commercial refrigeration market, we wanted to be closer to our distributors and installers”, confirms François Bouillot, Managing Director Tecumseh Europe. So, this first location in Morocco is the beginning of Tecumseh’s vast expansion plan in Africa, with the objective of “positioning the company as the commercial refrigeration leader in the region by building relationships with key partners”, points out Stéphane Charbonnier, Europe and Africa Sales Director. Ideally located in North Africa, Casablanca represents an ideal starting point to strengthen Tecumseh’s presence in Africa.
Tecumseh will continue to offer a wide range of products in North Africa: compressors, unit-coolers and traditional and outdoor condensing units (SILENSYS and WINTSYS).
Attached to the European subsidiary of Tecumseh, the office will be headed by Elmouez Ben Romdhane, Africa and Turkey Commercial Director for 10 year.
