Terberg launches refrigerated urban safety truck

Terberg, with its newly acquired company Dennis Eagle, joined forces with Gray & Adams, to launch Terberg’s first refrigerated truck. The Urban Safety Logistics truck was unveiled at the CV Show. The truck is based on the Dennis Eagle 4×2 Elite 11.8m rigid chassis with Dennis low entry cab and powered by a Volvo 280hp Euro VI engine and Allison 6-speed automatic gearbox. The direct vision capability through full-length glass panels increases visibility and awareness and safety for cyclists. The walk-through cab enhances driver safety as the driver does not have to exit the vehicle into oncoming traffic. The truck has Carrier’s low noise, low emission TRS Twin Cool undermount fridge with Gray & Adams dual-compartment body with an internal moveable bulkead. With a curved roof and internal body length of 7750 mm, the body has a volume of 45 cubic metres. “The Urban Safety Vehicle from Terberg is specified with a host of operational features that are designed to enhance the safety and performance of the driver as well as being ideally suited to the complex requirements of today’s urban distribution deliveries,” the company says.
