The European Heat Pump Summit 2019 has started on 22 October

The European Heat Pump Summit – powered by Chillventa goes into its tenth year with more than 200 international delegates and a fully booked Foyer Expo. Heat pump experts from all around the world can look forward to first-class knowledge transfer at the highest professional level, as more than 35 prominent German and international speakers discuss the status quo and importance of the heat pump. In 2019, the summit will focus on the use of the heat pump in industrial, commercial and municipal applications.

“The European Heat Pump Summit took place for the first time here at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg exactly ten years ago. We are very much looking forward to this minor anniversary, above all because this year the summit is enjoying renewed growth in delegate and exhibitor numbers. Nowadays, this small, highly specialised yet high-calibre event has become established in Europe as an important gathering for exploring all aspects of the heat pump. This is further reinforced by the fact that more than 200 participants have travelled from around 30 countries to be here,” says a delighted Daniela Heinkel, Director Chillventa and European Heat Pump Summit at NürnbergMesse.

Winning combination of congress and foyer expo

The high-quality theoretical presentations at the congress combined with the practical context provided by the Foyer Expo offer participants the opportunity to acquire a broad spectrum of knowledge. In addition, the event enables participants to expand their own international networks at the exhibition stands and during the evening get-together following the first day of presentations. Daniela Heinkel puts it in a nutshell: “The motto of the Chillventa network – ‘Connecting Experts’ – applies to the summit as well.”

Wide-ranging, top-class congress programme

Over two days, delegates can broaden their knowledge thanks to more than 30 presentations by renowned speakers on a wide range of subjects. The European Heat Pump Summit 2019 focuses mainly on industrial, commercial and municipal applications for heat pumps. As well as looking at innovative technologies in component manufacture and the specific use of heat pumps in commercial and industrial applications, the summit will this year also explore topics such as refrigerants, the use of hybrid systems, and high-temperature heat pumps. In the course of the presentations the following topics will also be explored and discussed: market developments, summaries of the IRR Conference in Montreal, news from the R&D sector and the latest on the development of components and products.
