The International Special Issue of “Industria & Formazione”

The Dawn of a New Refrigeration Era

The seventh edition of the printed magazine “Industria & Formazione”, edited in cooperation among Centro Studi Galileo, United Nations Environment and the International Institute of Refrigeration after months of tight joint action, has been shown in a preview in the frame of Chillventa 2018.

The publication will be officially launched and presented in a world premiere at the 30th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP 30), taking place from 5 to 9 November 2018 in Quito, Ecuador, to the Head of States and Government representatives, signatories of the global agreement on the phase down of refrigerants dangerous for the ozone layer and the climate – the known “Kigali Amendment”.

This edition has set a milestone, counting on over 20+ scientific papers and relevant submissions from all around the globe, achieving the highest number so far gathered in a single issue. The Issue addresses the current situation, challenges, opinions and possible solutions for our sector by renowned Associations and Institutions such as UNEP, IIR, AREA, AHRI, ASHRAE, CAR, EPEE, ISHRAE, JRAIA, JSRAE, and relevant experts from Europe, Africa, Australia, China, etc.

The International Special Issue reaches now its 12th year of publication: an editorial success that, since the first issue of 2006, has periodically informed the sector about the latest legislative and technological innovations. The magazine is regularly distributed at UN meetings to all Heads of State, Association Presidents and Government representatives, providing a useful tool to legislate in the direction of greater environmental protection and the maintenance of those benefits that the RAC sector provides to the world population.
