The IOR recently launched the 100 for a 100 campaign

The IOR recently launched the 100 for a 100 campaign to increase female membership of the IOR to 100 by the Womens’ Engineering Society 100th anniversary in June. Since the campaign has started, membership has increased by over 30%, which is a fantastic result but we still need more women to sign up by June 2019. If you know a fabulous female colleague, or if you are interested in joining the IOR, now is the time as we are waiving the joining fee making giving new members a £49 discount! The discount is for all, male and female, allowing new members to enjoy the perks of an IOR membership for less.

There are many benefits to joining including free access to a myriad of guidance notes and technical papers and being the first to hear about the IOR’s upcoming events such as regional Cool Talks and TechTalks. Our members have also commented on how supportive the organisation is with their career development and professional goals, when discussing this aspect of membership, Sam Parris M.Inst.R from Dean & Wood said “In joining the IOR, I have met many great and inspirational people, with their support and the accreditation that comes with the IOR I gained the confidence to progress in this industry.

Information on membership and how to apply is available at www.ior.org.uk/membership.
