Embraco launches Product Selector, a sophisticated online search application.
Global compressor manufacturer Embraco has launched a sophisticated online search application for finding the ideal product for a given technical requirement or system environment.
Based on a set of adjustable parameters, the tool called “Product Selector” allows identifying the adequate compressor for a specific refrigeration equipment, or the best solution for reaching a desired capacity in a defined operating condition.
The results provided are based on a semi-empirical, mathematical model that calculates the performance of the compressors in different operating conditions with an error margin of three percent.
Product Selector also allows cross-referencing Embraco compressors with other brands’ models, as well. By downloading the application, users are able to perform searches even when off-line.
The software has been developed in close collaboration between Embraco’s Marketing, R&D and IT departments, and the renowned Brazilian research laboratory POLO – UFCS at the University of Santa Catarina.
