ThermoKey launches new assembly line for high-capacity dry coolers

ThermoKey has introduced a new assembly line for its ventilated units, including Super Jumbo models, with a production capacity of up to two high-performance dry coolers per day. The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to optimize production flows, improve internal logistics, and enhance overall efficiency following lean manufacturing principles.

The new line is designed to support the growing demand for large-scale industrial cooling solutions, including Modular Dry Coolers with microchannel technology. By minimizing handling time and waste, ThermoKey aims to increase flexibility and responsiveness to market needs.

Located in the ST2 facility, the line benefits from large working areas, high ceilings, and two 5‑ton overhead cranes, which simplify the assembly and handling of large units. The layout also allows for potential direct loading onto transport vehicles, improving logistical efficiency. Proximity to the site’s vertical storage system further streamlines component access and reduces waiting times.

The production process concludes with a new automated electrical testing booth, fully integrated with the company’s management system. This booth enables quality checks for all units, including those up to 150 kW/Amp.

ThermoKey stated that the investment strengthens its lean, flexible manufacturing model, allowing the company to respond more effectively to global market demands.
