Top scorers announced with national final SkillFRIDGE on the horizon


The SkillFRIDGE competition has toured the UK searching for the best apprentices and trainees studying up to Level 3 RACHP, and we can now reveal the competitors who have made the shortlist in this year’s hotly contested series.

Those who have been invited to compete in the SkillFRIDGE national final are:

Orlando Rawlings
Employer Daikin UK College Grimsby College

Gary Elder
Employer Harry Dunlop Refrigeration College Southern Regional College

Chandler Davison
Employer Thermocold Refrigeration College Bath College

Stephen Taylor
Employer Kooltech College Eastleigh College

Jack Culhane
Employer Gelidus AC College Eastleigh College

Also participating in the national final is 2016 cohort Luke Courtney of Dunbia Ltd, who achieved a gold medal at the 2016 final. An eighth finalist will also be announced in due course.

The final will take place as part of The Skills Show, to be held at the NEC Birmingham from 16-18 November 2018.
