Toshiba Carrier to be Renamed as Carrier Japan Corporation with New Company Logo

Toshiba Carrier Corporation (TCC) announced that the name of the company will change from Toshiba Carrier Corporation to Carrier Japan Corporation, effective May 1, 2024. Its two wholly-owned subsidiaries in Japan will be also renamed. Also in May, TCC will relocate its main office from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, to Shinagawa Ku, Tokyo.

TCC became a part of Carrier in July 2022. The new name demonstrates a commitment toward further growth as a part of Carrier, continuing the company’s endeavor to better serve customers and deliver HVAC products and solutions that leverage its unique heat pump technologies for ensuring sustainable future for our society and planet.

As Carrier Japan Corporation, the company will launch its brand and product strategies under the existing Toshiba and Toshiba Carrier brands at different events and activities going forward, including HVAC&R Japan 2024, which takes place at the end of January.
