Tower Tech Announces Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Tower Tech, a cooling tower manufacturer, announces an upcoming grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at their newly relocated factory in Alum Bank, Pennsylvania.

Tower Tech will join Creative Pultrusions, Inc. (CPI) in celebration of the completion of the new manufacturing building located on the CPI campus. The grand opening will take place on Tuesday, August 13th at 1:00 p.m., and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and guided tours. The tours will showcase the manufacturing process of the state-of-the-art Tower Tech cooling towers.

CPI decided to expand its campus to include a facility dedicated to the production of Tower Tech cooling towers. The primary goal of this decision was to centralize manufacturing. CPI makes the walls for the cooling towers, therefore building the towers in the same location supports the manufacturing process providing better efficiency and cost savings on freight.

Corle Construction – a local contractor in Imler, Pennsylvania – built the new 36,000 square foot facility. The expansion on the CPI campus has brought in 20 additional jobs. CPI currently staffs 180 employees, and job growth is projected to continue.

“The grand opening is a milestone for us! Having our new facility near our major suppliers allows us to serve our ever-growing customer base. Bedford County and the surrounding areas have been good to Creative Pultrusions, so we are excited to add additional employment opportunities to the immediate area. Foremost, I thank our customers for supporting us during the transition from Oklahoma City to Alum Bank. Furthermore, I thank all the companies and individuals involved during the design and construction phases of this new facility,” stated Shane Weyant, President/CEO of CPI.

“The ribbon-cutting for the new Tower Tech manufacturing plant is an exciting day for everyone in our organization. For the first time in our 35 year history, all of our core manufacturing and assembly is at one location. This grand opening is the beginning of many exciting product improvements, offerings, and growth for Tower Tech going forward,” affirmed Mathu Solo, President of Tower Tech.

Present at the Grand Opening celebration will be President/CEO of CPI, Shane Weyant, President of Tower Tech, Mathu Solo, as well as the entire Tower Tech and CPI teams. Guests include customers, representatives, and suppliers of Tower Tech. Congressman John Joyce will be in attendance along with additional elected officials, industry professionals, and local business leaders.
