Tower Tech Announces New Sales and Support Office

Tower Tech announced they have moved into a new sales and support office in downtown Oklahoma City. The move was the result of needing office space that better-aligned operations after all the cooling tower manufacturing moved to Alum Bank, PA, as part of the Creative Composites Group.

Tower Tech moved into the Kingman-Moore Building, located in the center of the Warehouse District, now known as Bricktown, in one of the most intact functioning historical areas in Oklahoma City. The building was constructed in 1910 for the Kingman-Moore Implement (tractor/farm equipment) Company which was one of the largest Implement housing operations in the West.

Today, the building sits next to the Bricktown canal instead of a railroad depot. On August 12, 1983, the Kingman building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places and became an icon for the once-thriving Warehouse District. The building represents the last of the red-brick structures which once dominated the town’s skyline.

The structure provides a physical link to the economic rebirth of Oklahoma City during an era when the town’s population surged from 4,000 to 250,000. The Kingman Building is only one of eleven structures in the Bricktown District that have survived and maintained its historical structure. The building stands as a testimonial to Oklahoma City’s early economic growth and its future in preserving the historical value it brings to our city.

“We are excited to be a part of the continued re-vitalization happening downtown,” stated President, Mathu Solo. “Oklahoma has played such an important part in the history of our company, and we are proud to be in the historical Kingman Building. Our team represents several hundred years of collective experience in the cooling tower industry, so it was vital to continue our presence in Oklahoma.”

Established in 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tower Tech is a pioneer in the cooling tower industry with its patented modular cooling tower. The superior design and patented technology provides the lowest life cycle cost making it the preferred supplier to many of the largest HVAC and industrial companies looking for sustainability in today’s marketplace. Tower Tech was purchased in 2017 by Creative Pultrusions, a subsidiary of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC, which is an international group with leading positions in the design, manufacture, and supply of infrastructure products and galvanizing services to global markets. It serves its customers from facilities principally in the UK, France, USA, Sweden, Norway, India and Australia. Headquartered in the UK and quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: HILS.L), Hill & Smith Holdings PLC employs some 4,200 staff, principally in 7 countries.
