Trane launches connected service agreements across EMEA

Trane, a brand of Trane Technologies, has introduced Connected Mechanical Service Agreements (CMSA) across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The new offering integrates remote diagnostics, continuous performance monitoring, and predictive analytics to support more efficient maintenance of HVAC systems.

The cloud-based service enables early fault detection through embedded sensors that stream system data for real-time analysis. This allows Trane technicians to identify potential issues before they escalate, helping reduce downtime, improve system efficiency, and extend equipment lifespan.

CMSA marks a shift from reactive, on-site troubleshooting to a connected service model with routine digital inspections and proactive responses. Available in multiple tiers, the service ranges from basic dashboards to advanced remote diagnostics, allowing customers to choose a solution aligned with their operational requirements and budgets.

Technicians are supported with digital tools that streamline diagnostics and reduce repeat visits, while facility managers gain access to performance data, maintenance recommendations, energy consumption trends, and system alerts. The approach also supports environmental and regulatory goals by offering greater system visibility and operational precision.

“Rather than simply adding sensors to equipment, we can now use continuous data monitoring, predictive analysis and remote diagnostics to empower technicians with insights that keep the systems running at peak performance,” said Louis Rompre, Services Business Leader for Trane EMEA. “Embracing connected service agreements generates significant savings in time and money, improves business outcomes, and enhances peace of mind.”
