Since the beginning of this year, the TGA-Repräsentanz Berlin has been supported by an additional leading association from the building services engineering sector. VDKF – Verband Deutscher Kälte-Klima-Fachbetriebe e. V. has joined the alliance as a shareholder.
Established in 2014, the TGA-Repräsentanz Berlin had previously been supported by the Bundesindustrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung e. V. (BTGA), the Fachverband Gebäude-Klima e. V. (FGK), the Herstellerverband Raumlufttechnische Geräte e. V. (RLT-Verband) and the VDMA Fachverband Allgemeine Lufttechnik.
According to VDKF, the cooperation is intended to bring the issues and the importance of the refrigeration and air conditioning sector more strongly into focus for the public and political decision-makers. The association also said it wants to intensify technical exchange with the other TGA associations in order to align positions and represent interests in a focused and united way.
“Cooperation in the TGA-Repräsentanz Berlin enables VDKF to bring the issues and the great importance of the refrigeration and air conditioning sector more strongly into focus for the public and political decision-makers,” said Marcel Rehder, Managing Director of VDKF. Frank Ernst, Managing Director of the TGA-Repräsentanz Berlin, added: “VDKF’s accession strengthens the economic policy weight of the TGA-Repräsentanz Berlin.”
