Wolseley partners with Haier to expand UK renewables range and training

Wolseley Group has announced a strategic partnership with Haier HVAC Solutions to enhance access to low-carbon technologies and support installer training across the UK. Starting in October, Haier’s renewable product range—including air source heat pumps, smart controls, and battery storage systems—will be available through Wolseley’s Plumb Centre branches.

Plumb Centre, Wolseley’s national trade merchant brand, operates over 420 branches across the UK and offers a wide selection of heating and renewable systems. The agreement is part of Wolseley Group’s broader investment in the renewable energy market.

Earlier this year, the company launched Renewables Centre, a brand focused on supporting installers through accredited system design, application assistance, commissioning guidance, and hands-on training. Two dedicated training centres have opened in Shrewsbury and Swansea, with high demand prompting the addition of more training dates.

John Hancock, Chief Operating Officer at Wolseley Group, said: “This partnership with Haier HVAC Solutions reflects our continued investment in building a strong, future-ready renewables proposition for the trade. But it’s not just about product, it’s also about training, support, and capability.”

Dimos Vasilakis, Head of Sales UK & Ireland at Haier, added: “This strategic partnership with Wolseley, a trusted leader in HVAC distribution, marks an important milestone for Haier HVAC UK. Together, we’re bringing innovative, energy-efficient systems to a wider customer base and delivering the value, service, and sustainability that the UK market is demanding.”
