HVAC Lineset Market to Reach USD 12.59 Billion by 2030

The global HVAC Lineset market is projected to grow from USD 11.67 billion in 2025 to USD 12.59 billion by 2030, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.9%, according to a new report by MarketsandMarkets.

The growth is driven by increasing demand for energy-efficient HVAC systems and regulatory pressure to reduce carbon emissions. Facility owners are replacing older systems with low-GWP refrigerant solutions that require high-performance linesets for optimal refrigerant flow and minimal heat loss. Technological developments such as pre-insulated, factory-charged linesets and sensor-enabled systems integrated with IoT platforms are further contributing to market momentum.

Copper remains the dominant material in the HVAC Lineset market due to its thermal conductivity, flexibility during installation, and compatibility with low-GWP refrigerants like R-32 and R-454B. The report notes that regulatory standards such as ASHRAE 15 and UL 60335-2-40 favor copper in A2L refrigerant systems. OEMs including Daikin, Carrier, and Trane continue to specify copper in factory-assembled systems.

New construction is identified as the second-fastest growing implementation segment. Urbanization, particularly in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, is driving large-scale demand for ductless mini-splits and VRF systems with factory-charged, IoT-ready linesets. Energy efficiency codes and smart building trends are supporting this segment's expansion.

The commercial sector is expected to remain the largest end-use segment. Complex HVAC systems in facilities such as hospitals, data centers, and office buildings require extensive, corrosion-resistant lineset installations. Retrofit demand is also rising as older systems are replaced to meet energy and ESG targets.

Asia Pacific is forecast to be the fastest-growing regional market due to rapid construction growth, industrial development, and supportive government policies for green and energy-efficient buildings.

Key companies profiled in the report include Mueller Streamline Co. (US), Cerro Flow Products LLC (US), JMF Company (US), Zhejiang ICE Loong Environmental Sci-Tech Co. Ltd. (China), Feinrohren S.p.A (Italy), Halcor (Greece), Hydro (Norway), KME SE (Germany), Diversitech Corporation (US), Inaba Denko (Japan), and Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. (China).
