Automated Logic launches WebCTRL 10 to mark 25th anniversary of building platform

Automated Logic, a subsidiary of Carrier Global Corporation, has released WebCTRL 10, the latest version of its smart building management platform, marking 25 years since the platform’s original launch in 2000.

WebCTRL 10 is designed to support building owners and facility teams in optimizing building performance, reducing energy consumption, and improving occupant comfort. According to the company, the new version integrates AI-powered analytics, predictive maintenance capabilities, and enhanced tools to streamline commissioning and system configuration.

The Predictive Insights add-on uses artificial intelligence to detect potential equipment issues before failure, aiming to reduce downtime and extend system life. These insights can be combined with Automated Logic’s connected service offerings to optimize performance across building portfolios.

WebCTRL 10 also addresses labor shortages in the HVACR sector by providing technicians with tools for faster deployment and troubleshooting. New features include ACxelerate 3.0 for quicker commissioning and enhanced BACnet discovery.

The platform supports integration with existing building systems and IoT devices, and includes a redesigned interface with improved visualization tools. It is compatible with BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC) and offers deployment flexibility with on-premises or cloud-based options.

Through integration with BAS Central, Automated Logic’s cloud-based service hub, local representatives can access system health data and performance trends, enabling expert support and proactive system recommendations.
