CAREL introduces boss micro for local monitoring systems
CAREL, a multinational specialising in control solutions for the air conditioning, refrigeration and air humidification sectors,  introduces boss micro, the new format that completes the boss family and extends the offering for local monitoring systems. The new supervisor is the ideal solution for applications such as c-stores, petrol stations and quick service restaurants with a limited number of units yet that still require the same user experience and advanced system management functions.
The entire family of supervisors retains the same family feeling: boss micro in fact has the same user interface as boss and boss mini.

Connectivity and security

In close synergy with CAREL’s digitalisation strategy, the new local boss micro supervisor natively integrates various communication channels to centralised data collection platforms. Enabling analytics and preventive logics to optimise performance is thus immediate and adaptable to any system. Boss micro comes in four different hardware versions so as to offer a flexible solution that adapts to the needs of every system, integrating a WI-FI hotspot and a 4G modem for easy local and/or remote access without requiring any additional infrastructure. Just like the entire boss range, boss micro also implements the highest security standards to ensure that access to information is always controlled and secure.

Flexibility

An extremely intuitive and usable interface ensures simple and immediate interaction with the system for all users, one of the characteristics of boss that has also been implemented in the micro version. The intuitive interface - fully compatible with mobile devices and fully customizable - is indeed one of the main strengths of the entire range, representing the perfect tool for installers or shop owners to keep their system under control.

System optimisation

The boss micro supervisor guarantees optimisation of system performance through a wide choice of additional software components, such as management of compressor rack suction pressure or dashboards of performance indicators. Also worth highlighting is integration with third-party devices and integration into BMS systems using the most common protocols in HVAC/R, guaranteeing complete management of the system even in systems with multi-brand equipment.
