Carrier China Showcases Commitment to Growth at China Refrigeration Expo 2017

At the China Refrigeration Expo, Carrier China celebrated its 30th anniversary of operations and exhibited its latest innovative solutions, reinforcing its continued commitment to the country. Carrier China, which includes Carrier Air Conditioning Sales Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., is a part of Carrier, a world leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. In commemoration of three decades of its dedication to the industry and its customers in China, Carrier displayed a number of cutting-edge products including:
  • The new AquaEdge 19DV centrifugal chiller, which features Greenspeed intelligence and PUREtec low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant, delivers on customer demands for excellent performance, leading efficiency and environmental responsibility. The back-to-back compressor offers excellent compression efficiency with an optimized design and simultaneously cuts down 75 percent of the mechanical transmission loss by using a high-speed direct driven motor, as compared to that driven by gears. Its intelligent controls and high operational flexibility are optimized for robust operation in various demanding scenarios.
  • Air purification solutions which include the AeroEdge 39CQ customized air-handling unit and the 42CT fan coil unit, which can reach more than 98% filtration efficiency of Particulate Matter 2.5 With air quality becoming a critical issue in China, Carrier offers a comprehensive range of airside solutions that enhance indoor air quality while delivering reliable operation.
  • A range of light commercial products including AquaFlow variable water volume (VWV) systems and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technologies. A separate technology showcase included a High Temperature Inverter Air to Water Heat Pump, an ultra-energy saving, eco-friendly, high efficiency solution for space heating and sanitary hot water production.
“As the first American HVAC equipment manufacturer to start operations in China in 1987, Carrier has a long history of meeting customers’ needs across the country.
