Daikin has introduced a new high-temperature configuration for its EWWH-VZ water-cooled inverter chiller and heat pump series, enabling hot water supply up to 90 °C. This update extends the operational capabilities of the VZ series, targeting applications that demand higher water temperatures.
The unit operates with R-1234ze, a refrigerant with very low Global Warming Potential (GWP), and offers a cooling and heating capacity range between 400 and 1900 kW. With its compact design and full inverter technology, the EWWH-VZ series is designed to deliver high energy efficiency and operational flexibility.
According to Daikin, the extended temperature range supports decarbonisation goals in industrial heating and enhances suitability for industrial processes and district heating systems. Specific use cases include high-temperature cleaning, sterilisation, and production processes.
