Daikin Europe NV has unveiled Madoka Plus, a next-generation controller designed for commercial environments such as hotels, offices, and retail spaces. The new device was introduced during the Climatización y Refrigeración trade fair in Madrid, held from 18 to 20 November 2025. Combining a minimalist design with user-friendly touchscreen navigation and energy-saving features, Madoka Plus is scheduled for market launch across the EMEA region in summer 2026.
The controller features a compact 86×86 mm glass interface—the size of a standard wall socket—and is available in black or white. Its interface prioritizes ease of use, placing four key functions on the home screen for quick access. Additional features include color-coded modes, visual animations, and multilingual navigation designed to simplify operation for both end users and installers. According to Daikin, the streamlined interface helps reduce commissioning time and minimize the need for callbacks.
Madoka Plus is compatible with the updated Madoka Assistant app, enabling remote control and energy optimization. The controller has received the Good Design Award 2025, recognizing its balance of aesthetics and functionality.
The product is part of Daikin’s ongoing efforts to provide efficient and adaptable control solutions for commercial HVAC systems.
