Daikin Transport Refrigeration Reveals the Next Generation of Trailer Refrigeration Exigo

Daikin Transport Refrigeration, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a global leader, present in more than 150 countries, shaping the future of heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration systems, reveals the first Daikin-branded trailer transport refrigeration unit “Exigo”, the next generation of trailer refrigeration.

Daikin Transport Refrigeration broadens its portfolio of road transport refrigeration units with the reveal of Exigo, built today, designed for tomorrow’s challenges. The Exigo E1500 engine-driven single-temperature 15kW trailer unit revealed at Exigo is the first trailer unit incorporating many industry firsts in one unit. Exigo delivers reliability alongside reduced energy consumption, optimized airflow for temperature accuracy and efficiency, increased pull-down and on-grid efficiency, reduced maintenance and down-time and ease of unit operation and fleet management.

The Exigo E1500 single-temp 15KW is the first unit revealed in the new range of Exigo trailer products with:

  • 15kW true capacity – both on the road and on the grid
  • Exceptional pull-down performance
  • Extended service interval as standard

“We are looking forward to revealing our first Exigo unit in a week’s time at the first Daikin-branded stand at a European commercial vehicle trade show, Solutrans in Lyon, France, from November 16 to 20.
