Danfoss has introduced a new CO2/water brazed heat exchanger, model H48T-CH, designed for use in CO2 transcritical systems. The unit is intended for single-phase heat recovery applications, particularly in supermarkets and hypermarkets.
The H48T-CH uses Micro Plate technology to enhance thermal performance while minimizing pressure loss. According to Danfoss, the design supports multiple functions, including use as a gas cooler, condenser, sub-cooler, and economizer.
The unit is built to operate without a reinforced frame, allowing for more compact CO2 system configurations. Danfoss states that the heat exchanger is resistant to both pressure and thermal shock fatigue.
