Danfoss’ New iC2 Micro Drive

Customers seeking a compact drive that will enhance their HVAC system’s reliability and efficiency now have an option with Danfoss’ new iC2 Micro family of drives. With all the functionalities of a full-featured unit, the drive is perfectly crafted to be easy and durable allowing users to seamlessly integrate with existing drives and building automation systems.

This compact and intelligent drive is tailored to optimize a wide range of applications like pumps and fans and is even capable of controlling permanent magnet motors. With the help of the drive’s 120 degrees Fahrenheit working temperature, coated printed circuit board, natural cooling, and a removable fan, improving cooling efficiency and lowering energy consumption in harsh environments is no problem.

iC2-Micro includes an LED display, status indicators, clear navigation buttons, and a built-in frequency setting potentiometer, providing remote monitoring, real-time data insights and predictive maintenance capabilities.

"The iC2-Micro is the perfect match for a wide range of HVAC applications, and compatible with all typical motor technologies. Since iC2-Micro is the successor of the VLT FC 51, it was designed to facilitate retrofitting in every detail. More compact, intelligent, and powerful," said Felipe Andres Suarez Jaraba, OEM sales manager, Danfoss Drives. "This reliable and durable drive is even easier to use and install. Its compact design, side-by-side mounting and intuitive control panel simplifies installation and commissioning, reducing system and operation costs.
