Danfoss releases A2L-compatible MLZ and LLZ scroll compressors

Danfoss extends the cooling capacity range of its Optyma condensing units and releases A2L-compatible MLZ and LLZ scroll compressors.

With the extension of the Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus condensing units’ cooling capacity range—and the launch of the A2L-ready MLZ and LLZ scroll compressors (evolution B) - Danfoss continues its efforts to enable transition to ultra-low GWP refrigerants with a complete portfolio of A2L-ready components and solutions.

Danfoss has further expanded its portfolio of A2L-compliant refrigeration solutions by extending the cooling capacity range for its Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus condensing units.

The extended cooling capacities are:

Up to 11.1 kW MBP for Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus
Up to 1.5 kw LBP for Optyma Slim Pack
Up to 3.5 kW LBP for Optyma Plus

This means cooling professionals now have even more options available to find an A2L-ready unit that matches their specific application needs—giving you a unique one-stop-shop offering for multi-refrigerant packaged condensing units.

Compatible with both A2L and A1 refrigerants - e.g., R1234yf, R454C, and R455A - the future-proof design of the Danfoss Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus condensing units enable a seamless transition to ultra-low GWP refrigerants.

The Optyma condensing units enable you to gain higher energy efficiency while reducing energy consumption and indirect emissions. This powerful combination translates into an economically viable solution that you can implement today.

Complementing the extended cooling capacity of the Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus condensing units, the MLZ evolution B scroll series is now compatible with A2L refrigerants. The LLZ evolution B scroll series will follow suit soon after.
