Danfoss with its Turbocor line of compressor products is the pioneer and world leader of variable speed, oil-free compressors for the HVAC industry. Danfoss has just released the TT700 compressor which expands the capacity range of the highly successful TT series.
Designed for water cooled chiller applications and built on the proven Turbocor technology, the TT700 compressors are oil-free, variable-speed, magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors that provide outstanding full- and part-load energy efficiency. The compressors also feature a small footprint, are light weight, and offer low vibration, very low sound, intelligent controls, and soft starting characteristics
The Danfoss Turbocor TT700 compressor expands on the TT platform to increase the maximum capacity range, specifically targeting 400V and 380V applications. The new TT700 will be able to deliver 200 Tons (700kW) at typical full load rating conditions for 400V and 380 Volt applications both 50Hz and 60Hz.
These new compressors are available to existing Danfoss OEMs using the Turbocor line of compressors beginning in December 2016.
As part of the Danfoss Turbocor portfolio, the TT700 compressor combines the efficiency, sound, and maintenance benefits of all Turbocor compressors with a future-proof alternative for chiller systems that addresses both energy efficiency and refrigerant regulations and standards. Danfoss Turbocor TT compressors are now available in four different models ranging from 90 to 200tons (300 to 700kW).
Danfoss Turbocor compressors was awarded top honors for Product of the Year at the 2015 AHR Expo and honorable mention for Turbocor TG compressors in the green building category in the 2017 AHR Expo Innovation Awards program.
